As an employer, you may be interested in the information, advice and guidance we provide to our students within your field of work. We have an Employers’ Event every year in which we invite employers to come in, host a stall and chat to our students in Years 9 and 10. There are also multiple opportunities to come in to speak with our students during assemblies. We would very much encourage employers to come in and either talk or present to our students or work with them in smaller groups.
Our curriculum leaders are also very familiar with the importance of CEIAG and ensuring it is embedded within their subject area. If you think it is more appropriate to make direct contact with an individual department (for instance, a local IT company may well wish to speak with the Head of Computing at Cowley), please let us know – the Heads of each Department would most certainly welcome employer involvement, whether it is just to discuss what we deliver or how you might be able to enhance the curriculum. Our subject leaders may also be able to inform you of students who express an interest in going down your career path.
