Students and staff at Cowley Sixth Form College are celebrating another successful year of A-Level and BTEC results, with 2025 seeing a notable increase in top grades across both qualifications.
This year has seen a rise in the number of A-Level students achieving the highest grades of A*–A, alongside an increase in BTEC students securing Distinction* and Distinction grades. These excellent results reflect the hard work, resilience, and dedication of students, supported by the commitment and expertise of Cowley’s teaching and support teams.
The college community came together on results day to share in the celebrations, with many students receiving confirmation of places at their first-choice universities, prestigious apprenticeships and competitive employment opportunities.
Danny Watkins, Head of Sixth Form, praised the achievements of the Class of 2025:
“We are incredibly proud of our students and the results they have achieved this year. Their determination, dedication, and drive have been inspirational, and they have truly earned these successes.
“Today is a celebration of their hard work and the incredible support they have received from staff, families, and each other.
“The vast majority are now moving on to their preferred destinations, whether that’s university, an apprenticeship or employment, and that is our target when they come here so we wish them every success for the future.”
Cowley Sixth Form College now eagerly awaits its new cohort of students to enrol next week on GCSE Results Day.
