University of Sheffield

At the University of Sheffield, throughout Autumn and Winter there are a number of (completely free) opportunities for your students to experience what it is like to study different subjects at university.

Open Days

Visit SheffieldOn campus open days

Bookings are open for our on campus open days, taking place on Saturday 26 November. Prospective students will have the opportunity to meet our staff and students, take tours of the campus, the Students’ Union and accommodation, attend departmental talks on their subjects of interest and most importantly of all, get a feel for The University of Sheffield – the atmosphere, the people, the campus and the city. Sheffield Live

What is Sheffield Live?

We know that there’s a lot to consider when researching and choosing where to study. Our Sheffield Live sessions take place every Wednesday and cover all different aspects of University life to help you as you go through your application journey with us.

Sheffield Live runs throughout the year with sessions on different topics such as accommodation, student societies and extra-curricular activities. There are also student and alumni panels plus regular opportunities for you to hear from academic departments about study options and course information.
