Sixth Form Open Evening
Tuesday 10th November 2009 on the 11-16 Site from 6.30-8:30pm
The evening will begin with a chance for parents and students to meet staff and visit departmental areas. At 7 pm, a series of brief talks from key members of staff will start in the Cowley International Hall - these will give further information on the structure of the sixth form, entry requirements and the types of courses on offer. At the end of the talk, you will be able once again to visit any subject areas to find out more specific information - this will include information on the International Baccalaureate, AS and A Levels and Vocational courses. You will also have the chance to speak to students from our present sixth form about these courses. Also available will be support on how to apply and details of the grades necessary to qualify for each type of course. You will be able to discover the exciting developments for Cowley's sixth form in terms of the buildings and refurbishment taking place.
