Cowley International College, formerly Cowley Language College, is an 11-18 college situated in the Windle Ward of St Helens, Merseyside.  Founded in the 1900s, the college has been at the forefront of local traditions, whilst being at the cutting edge of technological development. There are over 1500 students on roll, with around 350 of those students studying in our Sixth Form.

Cowley has achieved many awards including The International School Award, which recognises curriculum-based international work. The school has also gained an award in sport (Sports Mark) and in RE with the Gold Standard RE Quality Mark (REQM) in recognition of the outstanding Religious Education taught at Cowley.

The college’s international dimension underpins its inclusive ethos and imaginative provision within a safe and vibrant environment.

The college continues to make large investments within ICT and is reaping the benefits in terms of GCSE, A Level and vocational results. The college prides itself on providing a wealth of resources for our key stakeholders, including an online system named ‘The Parent Portal’ that offers parents and carers secure access to a host of key information, e.g. academic reports, attendance and conduct statistics.
