On Monday (1st April), 34 Year 11 Engineering students visited the Land Rover Experience in Liverpool.
As part of the educational trip, students enjoyed a tour of the Liverpool manufacturing facility, gaining insight into the manufacturing processes used to transform raw materials into a complex product.
The tour took our Engineering students on a journey to show how Jaguar Land Rover transform a roll of steel into a vehicle through the use of huge industrial presses stamping out rolls of steel into perfect 3D panels.
The trip culminated in our students seeing the dedicated quality team at Jaguar Land Rover scrutinising each vehicle ensuring that they meet exacting standards before being dispatched for customers all over the world.
The trip was a huge success and the tour guides at the Land Rover Experience spoke very highly of our students.
