Ex Students Return to Share Their Success

Thomas Platt
On Friday, 20th April, our Year 13 Musical Theatre students were visited by Thomas Platt, an ex-Cowley student who has achieved some amazing things since leaving the College in 2011. Tom previously studied on the same Musical Theatre course that our current Sixth Formers are on and after huge success as a West End stage manager, he is now working towards his Masters degree at one of the most prestigious acting schools in the world. Tom presented our students with a workshop and answered any questions they had about his experiences since leaving the College and how to achieve the same levels of success for themselves in the acting industry.

Throughout the day, Lee talked to our Year 10 and 11 students about his career path and the importance of teamwork, respect, integrity and excellence in the workplace. In the afternoon, Lee visited our Sixth Form Public Services students to answer any questions they had about his experiences of working in the RAF and discussed his memories of being a student at Cowley.
