From Wednesday 14th – Friday 16th June will be our annual Residential activities trip to Quinta Hall (North Wales).
This trip offers Year 8 students a fun filled and action packed few days where they can take part in a variety of activities, including:
- raft building
- walking the tunnel of doom
There will also be evening activities such as a disco and quiz to keep everyone busy and entertained.
This is a reward trip that is open to all Year 8 students who demonstrate good attendance and behaviour for the period Monday 27th February to Friday 31st March.
Letters of invite will be handed out in April to those who have earned it by essentially following normal college rules: we are looking for at least 95% attendance, no unauthorised lates, exclusions, Remove, C4 or C4+ detentions. Same day sanctions will also be taken into consideration. Obviously good behaviour and attendance needs to continue up to the trip and places can be offered or withdrawn at the discretion of the Head of Lower School and Head of Achievement.
The cost will be £60 but standard college subsidies are available to help those who may need it and a payment plan over the coming months is also available. However, please do not make any payment until invite letters have been sent out.
We would like to take as many as possible from the Year group but realise it may not be for everyone. Those who do not go will be required to attend college as usual.
