Cowley celebrates GCSE success

Cowley International College is delighted to share an excellent set of GCSE results. Our students have done themselves justice and have performed exceptionally, especially taking into account the COVID disruption that this cohort experienced.

There were many outstanding individual performances. Eve Kelly achieved 8 grade 9s and a grade 7, Lilly-Mae Wiswall attained 6 grade 9s and 2 grade 8s, Harrison Latta collected 4 grade 9s and 3 grade 8s, while Kitty Lyon, Macca Smith and Alfie Kearns each earned 3 grade 9s.

Many of our top performers are now progressing to Cowley Sixth Form College, studying courses including Maths, Physics, Chemistry and English.

Reflecting on the results, Principal, Mr Cormack, said: “Today has been a day of celebration.

“We are all incredibly proud of this cohort and the excellent results and personal achievements that they have achieved, not just today, but over the last five years.

“Our students should be proud of what they have accomplished and of the challenges they’ve overcome to get here.

“I’d like to thank staff and parents for the important role they have played in this success too, helping students achieve these fantastic results.

“We wish everyone the very best as they progress on their chosen pathways.”
