Anti-Bullying Week at Cowley

Anti-Bullying Week takes place this week. Here at Cowley, we will be running a number of activities and initiatives in our support of the event.

Kindness is more important today than it has ever been. The isolation of the last year has underlined how little acts of consideration can break down barriers and brighten the lives of the people around us. This is one of the reasons that ‘One Kind Word’ has been chosen as the theme of Anti-Bullying Week taking place from 15-19 November 2021.

As proud members of the Anti-Bullying Alliance, the organisation co-ordinating Anti-Bullying Week, Cowley will be supporting the event with a number of activities running throughout the week.

During Team Time, activities will take place to promote the kindness message, with assemblies, presentations and discussions around this topic each morning. They will also be signing their annual anti-bullying pledge for 2021-2022.

In addition, a competition will be launched on Friday for students to get involved in and prizes for the best entries.

You will be able to see more information and photos from the events taking place in school this week on our social media feeds: Facebook and Twitter.
